Unity is a sonic exploration of the piano as a singular sound source. The piece delves into the concept of using only audio materials collected from a piano that is then processed, sequenced and arranged into a final composition. The title was chosen to reflect the compositional process and the overall concept of the piece. It also represents the overall aims of the whole portfolio in bringing together elements from two disciplines to create a single unified body of work.
