Cerulean is a term which describes the deep blue colour often associated with the shade of the sky, reflected in the ocean. The piece is reflective of the natural ebb and flow of waves and serves to sonically enhance and extend these. The pulse of the surging of the waves becomes a natural metronome for the piece to work around as elements of synthesised and beat-based material begins to emerge from the soundscape.
